Dawn is a licensed cosmetologist with more than 25 years of experience in the beauty industry and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident, beautiful and completely themselves. Her extensive education and training includes Graham Webb, Pivot Point, Paul Mitchell, Toni & Guy, Redken and Oligo, along with advanced education in Pro Addiction and the Cezanne Treatment.

In 2019, Dawn founded The Hair Studio with a vision of creating a welcoming, elevated space where creativity, education and exceptional service come together. Since opening, the studio has grown into a warm and inspiring community supported by loyal clients, friends and fellow beauty professionals.

As a stylist, colorist and owner, Dawn takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to every appointment. She loves creating beautiful looks that complement each client’s individual style, personality and lifestyle. Known for her attention to detail and perfectionist eye, Dawn is dedicated to making every guest feel cared for and ensuring they leave feeling confident, refreshed and fierce.

Dawn believes continued education is essential to staying inspired and delivering the highest level of service. She regularly pursues advanced education to stay current with evolving techniques, trends and innovations, then shares that knowledge with her team to encourage their continued growth and creativity.

Bre is a talented hairstylist who has been in the beauty industry since 2019 and is passionate about helping every client look and feel their absolute best. She specializes in creating beautiful, customized blonde transformations and is skilled in cutting all hair types and styles.

Known for truly listening to her clients, Bre takes the time to understand each person’s vision, lifestyle, and hair goals before bringing them to life with precision and care. Whether you’re looking for a fresh haircut, a bright new blonde, or a complete style refresh, she’s dedicated to creating a look you’ll love.

Committed to continuing her education, Bre regularly attends advanced training to stay up to date on the latest techniques and trends, ensuring every client receives exceptional service and beautiful, modern results in a welcoming and personalized experience.

JoLana has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2000. She specializes in timeless, classic hairstyles, gray coverage and soft color enhancements with an emphasis on short haircuts that can boost even the finest hair. She listens to her client's requests and strives for excellence. She's had continuing education with Redken, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, Wella, Oligo and Goldwell.

Hi, I’m Kayte! I’ve been behind the chair since 2008 and absolutely love helping my clients feel confident and beautiful. I specialize in low-maintenance, dimensional lived-in color with a focus on balayage, blonding, and dimensional brunettes. My goal is to give every guest a relaxing, personalized salon experience while creating effortlessly beautiful hair that grows out seamlessly and fits your lifestyle.

This talented hairstylist has been developing a true passion for helping people look and feel beautiful since 2016. Originally from New York and now proudly serving clients in Delaware, she brings creativity, experience, and personalized care to every appointment. Specializing in haircuts, color, curly hair, updos, and more, she is dedicated to enhancing each client’s natural beauty while creating styles that fit their personality and lifestyle. Her warm personality and attention to detail make every visit an uplifting and confidence-boosting experience.

Hair has always been my passion! I graduated cosmetology school in 2018 and expanded my expertise by returning to barber school, graduating in 2025. I enjoy continuing my education and am always taking classes to learn new techniques and services to better serve my clients. I’m also honored to work with Wigs for Kids, using my craft to give back and make a meaningful difference through hair.

Emilie has been part of The Hair Studio team since 2021, when she began her journey in the beauty industry as an apprentice. After successfully completing her apprenticeship, she is excited to step into her role as a Junior Stylist and continue growing her career behind the chair.

Passionate about all things beauty, Emilie loves keeping up with the newest techniques and trends in the industry. She brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine desire to make every client feel confident and beautiful.

And if you know Emilie, you know she brings more than just her talent to the salon—she is our official team jokester and self-appointed Entertainment Director! Her fun personality and infectious energy keep the salon laughing and make her a truly special part of The Hair Studio team.

Emilie is excited to continue learning, developing her skills, and making her mark in the cosmetology industry.

Brandon is a dedicated and personable salon assistant who is excited to build his career in the beauty industry. With a background in property management, he brings strong organization, communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills to The Hair Studio.

Brandon is currently apprenticing at The Hair Studio as he works toward completing his cosmetology education. He has truly found a passion for the hair and beauty industry and enjoys learning new techniques, connecting with clients, and being part of the salon environment. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and desire to learn make him a valued member of the team as he continues to grow and develop his skills.

Lilly is a 2026 graduate of Delmarva Christian Academy who is excited to begin pursuing her dream of becoming a cosmetologist. She is currently attending cosmetology school in Dagsboro while continuing to gain hands-on experience as a Salon Assistant at The Hair Studio on weekends.

With a natural eye for hair and a genuine passion for the beauty industry, Lilly is eager to learn, grow, and develop her skills. She is excited about the journey ahead and looks forward to building a career doing what she loves.

Sophia is a dedicated and enthusiastic salon assistant who enjoys being part of The Hair Studio team while attending Sussex Academy. She is excited to graduate with the Class of 2027 and plans to attend college after high school.

Outside of the salon and school, Sophia enjoys playing softball. She brings a positive attitude, friendly personality, and strong work ethic to everything she does.
